As previously blogged, life has not been super duper chill recently. Maybe not super duper for some but you see, I tend to overstress with just about everything (life, werq, bills, and well everything in general hahaha). With so many things driving me nuts and bolts rn, I needed something to keep me motivated and movin and what better way to do that than to do magazine grocery!! hahaha Wow it's been a while (that's true) and with yesterday's loot, I think I set a new personal record. Grawbe can I just say I'm the poorest/happiest maghag now lol.

PLUS the package I have been waiting for quite a time now arrived yesterday! Finally got my copy of Contemporary Graphic Design (Taschen). I've seen a few copies locally but I figured out buying abroad would be more economical for me because it's cheaper and I don't mind waiting (read: kuripotschikova).

And with the "and then some" part...mm thanks to my superfriends basta. You guise know who you are :-)

Random Thoughts / Artwork's Happy Arteest Competition

Can I just say i'm a super happpppppppppppy arteeeeeeeest because my entry is a finalist in Artwork's annual tshirt design competition. I'm not the competition/contest type of guy but this one's my cuppa tea and I already had an idea so I was like why the hell not join. I've always been meaning to join this annual thingy but school always gets in the way. Now that i'm out of school, I was able to join and thank God at least I got in hehehehe. Thank you x 100000000000 to Artwork and the judges.

This, along with the winning entries and other finalists will be on display at the following places and dates:

December 4-11, 2010 / Ground floor Atrium, Glorietta
December 20-31, 2010 / Ground floor, Trinoma

Random Thoughts / Little things that make me happy: Chuva Charm

I would not normally spend three-figured sums (I know…) on simple key-chains like this. But knowing this is something quite special (read: limited ed), I did the semi-impossible (at least for people like me) and got myself a Chuva Charm. I almost missed it. If not for the kind people of PL Shang who really saved one for those who reserved personally, I would have just let go.

I hate ants. That's a fact. I try to be nice to them. They tried to make a castle out of my things. Edrick and ants don't go well together so I had to eradicate the poor homeless ants—the humane way: I let them go away on their own. I checked it today and guess what—they were still there. Inside that bee from Bee Movie. Wth? Quickly, I headed towards the sink, washed them off with cool running water, soaked everything in a small tub, waited for a few minutes, rinsed and left it there to dry. Ants, don't you ever go near my things again. Ever.
